Friday the 23rd March is an evening with performances, readings, and screenings at Gallery Q, Copenhagen. This will be the premiere of Two Drapes & One Curtain, a dramaturgic concept for presenting time-based art in a theatrical setting. An intimate space for experimentation, where an engaged audience plays a key role. We emphasize a cheering and encouraging atmosphere with constructive criticism.
Two Drapes & One Curtain is not a new concept. In fact, we borrowed it from Amsterdam, where it goes under the name Lost&Found. Now, Lost&Found was in turn inspired by “Four Walls”, small informal gatherings in New York. Galleri Q will be the starting point of our own version of these events, held regularly in Copenhagen.
We present a packed two-hour program of six artists. After each act, the audience participates in a short discussion led by Agne Vaiciukevičiūtė, who is our host for the evening!
This just happens to be an all-female line-up :)
