VLP gallery warmly invites You for MRZN – a celebration of the Spring Equinox, on the 22nd of March. During the event will host a visual art showcase, performance and a reading.

Together with our guests we will create the central figure of MARZANNA – a Slavic goddess of winter, dream, disease and death. Guided by the VLP team we will build it with herbs, straw, eggs, and dried flowers. The room will be also inhabited by works by Nanna Starck, Pawel Oszczynski, Vala Foltyn, Magda Buczek and Bartek Aroba Kociemba.

In the evening we will gather together to perform a Fire Ritual of Marzanna in her transformative journey to end the season of winter and welcome the first explosions of spring. Afterwards we will relax guided by Michele Gurevich with her special guest contribution and a reading by Vala T. Foltyn from her book “Szwedzka 6”, recently published by Art Hub Copenhagen.

Alongside wine and non-alc beverages we will offer a possibility to buy our posters and by doing so to support humanitarian aid in Gaza.
