Please join for a public presentation by artist Yuki Okumura.

This is the second event in a series of artist presentations taking place in the public park of King’s Garden (by the carp pond, behind the bushes) in Copenhagen. All events are free and everyone is welcome. Complimentary coffee will be served.

Yuki Okumura (b. 1978, Aomori, Japan) is an artist, writer and filmmaker, who reinterprets recent art history as a site of interpersonal relations and parallel realities. Working through various personas-historical figures as well as fictitious characters – Okumura explores the narrativization of artists' lives, as well as his own personal kinship with artistic positions from the canon of conceptual art. Recent exhibitions include The Man Who, An Ephemeral Archive at Keio University Art Center, Tokyo, 29,771 days – 2,094,943 steps at LA MAISON DE RENDEZ-VOUS, Brussels, Welcome Back, Gordon Matta-Clark at Statements, Tokyo, Yuki Okumura at MISAKO & ROSEN, Tokyo, Hisachika Takahashi by Yuki Okumura at Maison Hermes Le Forum, Tokyo Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver & Yuki Okumura: Shi at Etablissement d’en face, Brussels, and Across Our Horizons at HEDAH, Maastricht among others.
