Step into a world of autonomous objects in glass and ceramic made by young makers from The Royal Danish Academy – Crafts in Glass and Ceramics, when the exhibition The Autonomous Craft Object opens at Bornholm’s Arts and Crafts Center in April.

The exhibition is a celebration of craft and the creative vision from the artists behind each piece. The exhibition explores the boundaries between function and art and aims to highlight the qualities of these materials in their purest form. Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to experience contemporary craft objects and explore the intersections of technology and tradition. The collection features work by emerging artists from Denmark, France, Portugal, Japan, Italy, and Venezuela, showcasing a diverse range of styles and techniques.
