Med projektet This could be us, but you’re so hardcore, har kunstnerkollektivet big feelings club lagt rammerne for en to-dages, kunst- og performancefestival på Basement i København. Festivalen er åben d. 13.-14. september med 23 deltagende kunstnere.
Inden festivalen åbner, har de deltagende kunstnere brugt to dage på at definere Basement som rum – både for en offentlig udstilling, og for det kollektive arbejde og de relationer der er nødvendige for, at det kan ske. Der vil være spor af netop det arbejde mellem værk, formidling og proces i udstillingen. Vi vil arbejde for en flerstemmig udstilling uden forudgående tematisk eller kuratorisk tænkt sammenhæng, ud over lysten til at lave den sammen som kunstnergruppe.
Big feelings club er kollektiv bestående af de fire billedkunstnere: Pernille Emilia Kjær, Billie Meiniche, Mie Mo og Cecilie Mark. De arbejder sammen om at skabe rum for cirkulation af viden og opdyrkning af kollektiv kapacitet og facilitere kollegaskab i en konkurrencepræget kultur.

This could be us but you’re so hardcore is a two-day art and performance festival initiated by the collective big feelings club. The festival is open 13-14th of September at Basement in Copenhagen with 23 participating artists.
The artists have spent two days defining Basement as a space - for a public exhibition, as well as for the relational and collective work that made it possible. Traces of this relationship between process, presentation and the final work will find its way into the show. We will work towards maintaining asynchrony instead of a thematically or curatorial coherency - except for the wish to make it happen.
Big feelings club is a collective consisting of the four artists: Pernille Emilia Kjær, Billie Meiniche, Mie Mo and Cecilie Mark. They work together to create spaces for circulation of knowledge and collective capacity and collegial community instead of a culture dominated by competition.
