Invitation to artist talk by Mikkel Holm Torp

Mikkel Holm Torp works with sculpture, ceramics and installations. His works are developed from knowledge in stone masonry and investigations of mineral materials. He explores how art forms correspond with geology, landscape, archaeology. His latest works questions how stones are valuable elements, not only as minerals, but as metaphors for navigating in historical landscapes, cultural memory and iconology.

The talk is held in danish, and due to corona has limited seats. Please write to 51cth@51cth.dk to request a seat. We will follow the recommendations and guidelines of the health authorities at the event.
