It is with utmost joy that Institut Funder Bakke welcomes you to the opening of the show MEET THE LOCALS, featuring works by Abdul Dube, Karim Qubadi, Leif Dræby and Sall Lam Toro.
In addition to the artists’ work, the show includes a set of artifacts ranging from everyday stuff to cultural – institutional and regional signifiers appropriated and re-appropriated by the curators of the show La’Toyah Christie & Felis Dos. As always the opening takes place at Æbeløvej 20 Funder Bakke however because of the Covid 19 situation the opening will primarily be taking place in the garden, and there will only be 10 people allowed in the studio at the same time.
Opening: Saturday the 1st of may 3-7 pm.
Exhibition period: 1st of May - 19th of June, 2021.
Opening hours: Fridays 4-9 pm. Saturdays and Sundays 12-4 pm.

Det er Institut Funder Bakke en fornøjelse at invitere til åbningen af udstillingen MEET THE LOCALS, som præsentere værker af Abdul Dube, Karim Qubadi, Leif Dræby og Sall Lam Toro.
Udstillingen består udover disse kunstneres værker af en samling ting – reklamer – film – fotografier – tøj og navne. Samlingen strækker sig fra hverdagsgenstande til kulturelle – institutionelle og regionale ikoner og er samlet approprieret og re-approprieret af udstillingens kurator-duo La’Toyah Christie & Felis Dos. Åbningen foregår som altid på Æbeløvej 20 Funder Bakke, men kommer primært til at foregå i haven, da Covid-19-situationen kun tillader os at være 10 personer i atelieret ad gangen.
Udstillingsperiode: D. 1. maj-19. juni, 2021.
Åbning: Lørdag d. 1. maj kl. 15-19.
Åbningstider: Fredage 16-21. Søndage og Lørdage 12-16.
