Press release, March 2020

I believe this theme is on most peoples minds right now, even though we really don't want to think about it. I have been dwelling on this theme for a long time, not because I need things to be dramatic; but because I think it is interesting to contemplate on how things look in their extreme.

Therefore I have invited artists to participate in this online exhibition; to investigate the theme seriously, ironic, dystopic, hopeful, loving or visionary.

–––––– –––––– –––––– –––––– ––––––

The exhibiting artists respond in very different ways to the theme. Each with their special take on catastrophe. Please notice that some artists have more the none picture in a specific order, others have links to sound or video works.

The show is initiated by artist and curator Signe Vad (member of the collective tSoC.zone) as part of her project Office of Emergency.
