OPEN CALL for en udstilling på Udstillingsstedet OK Corral.
Vi opfordrer kunstnere, kunsthistorikere, kuratorer og andre kulturelle producenter at ansøge om at vise en udstillinger eller et enkelt projekt. Vi er er også åbne for personer, der er interesserede i at afholde events, talks, screenings mm. Vi værdsætter, at udstilleren arranger et event, artists talk, foredrag, gennemgang af værker, koncert, film-visning, performance, happening eller andet i forbindelse med deres udstilling. Gruppeudstillinger bliver bedømt på baggrund af deres konceptuelle indhold.
Vi opfordrer følgende til at ansøge:
- Up-coming kunstnere.
- Kunstnere, der ikke tidligere har haft solo-udstillinger i Danmark.
- Udstillinger af høj kunstnerisk kvalitet.
Ansøgning skal indeholde:
- Kontaktinformation: email, tlf. og landet, hvor ansøgeren har base.
- Projektbeskrivelse (max 500 ord).
- 3-5 sider billeddokumentation af relevante værker og arbejde.
- En skitse, der beskriver hvor værker skal placeres i OK Corrals udstillings rum. Du kan finde plantegningen som jpeg på vores hjemmeside.
- Materiale, der giver en god forståelse for hvorledes udstillingen kunne komme til at tage sig ud har væsentligt større chance for at udstille.
- Artist Statement/CV (for alle involverede).
- Hvis du har en hjemmeside, så vedlæg link.
For gruppeudstillinger kræver vi dokumentation på alle involverede.
Ansøgninger skal sendes på dansk eller engelsk.
Hvordan sendes ansøgningen?
Alt materiale samles i en enkelt PDF og sendes til: okcorralexhibit@gmail.com. Mærk emne/overskrift i din email med: ’udstillingsforlag [dit navn]’ eller ’event forslag [dit navn]. Max størrelse 15 MB.
Deadline: 1. april 2018.
Event: Ifbm. en udstilling har du mulighed for at planlægge et event med henblik på udstillingens tematik. Detaljer til dette aftales nærmere. Events skal foregå inden for udstillingsperioden. Ansøger du om at afholde et enkelt event, screening, talk eller andet, bedes du foreslå en dato/uge/måned.
OK Corral tilbyder: Udstillingsrummet, kuratorisk samarbejde, udsendelse af pressemateriale og udarbejdelse af udstillings kontrakt. OK Corral hjælper ikke med installering og nedtagning af værker. Det er udstilleren, som er ansvarlig for at passe udstillingen i udstillingsperioden.
Forsikring: Kunstneren er ansvarlig for forsikring af værker.
OK Corral har ikke nogen forsikring og kan ikke stå til ansvar for eventuel skade på værker.

OPEN CALL for an Exhibition at OK Corral Exhibition Space.
We encourage artists, art historians, curators and other cultural makers to apply for an exhibition or project. The exhibitor(s) is asked to stage an event; an artist talk / lecture / walk through / concert / film screening / performance / happening to coincide with their exhibition. Group proposals will be considered on the basis of their conceptual strength.
We encourage proposals from:
- Up-coming artists.
- Artists who have not previously exhibited in Denmark.
- Exhibitions of high artistic quality.
The application should include:
- Contact information: email, phone and location where the application is based.
- Project description (max 500 Words).
- 3-5 pages image documentation of relevant work.
- A sketch which describes where works will be placed in the exhibition room. Please use the picture of the space which is downloadable from our website.
- Material giving a preliminary idea of the aesthetics (visuals, concepts, video or sound links etc.) of the proposed exhibition will greatly increase the possibility of exhibiting.
- Artist Statement/CV (for all involved).
- If you have a personal website, please attach a link.
For group proposals we require documentation for all artists involved.
Applications must be submitted in English or Danish.
How to send the application: Assemble into one PDF and email to: okcorralexhibit@gmail.com. Subject: ’exhibition proposal [your name]’ or ’event proposal [your name]. Max size 15 MB.
Deadline: April 1st 2018.
Event: If you get an exhibition period, the event must be discussed in detail and scheduled prior to the exhibition. The Event has to be within the exhibition period.
OK Corral offers: The location, curatorial cooperation, large network, help with press release and a exhibition contract. OK Corral does not offer work assistance on the installation and take down of exhibitions, and it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to keep the exhibition open during the agreed exhibition period.
Insurance: The artist is responsible for any insurance.
OK Corral has no insurance and is not liable for any damages.
