ALINA VERGNANO "THIS HIDING PLACE"

  • Limited Works, København Blågårdsgade 17 København, 2200 Denmark (map)

Press release, february 2018

In this new body of work Alina Vergnano has created a world apart represented in a series of drawings and lino cuts where lines and shapes entangle on the verge of abstraction.

In the exhibition Alina Vergnano explores the side of the mind in which we find a safe space from the world outside. A place where we can hide and wonder, where there is no time and no purpose.

In a suspended atmosphere, arms, legs and hands are entwined in an everlasting embrace and forests are overgrowing and whirling around the body, disguising and protecting it at the same time.

Join us this Saturday afternoon for the opening of This Hiding Place - A solo exhibition by Alina Vergnano.

Reception, drinks, meet & greet.

Opening: February 24th, 15.00-18.00.
Exhibition period: February 24th - March 10th, 2018.
