Pressemeddelelse, august 2019

Traces of traveling tales, emitting light through matter, leaving residue behind, flooding cracks and shallow carvings, the slime of time.

ENGLISH:

The History of the Round Tower and its immense collection of scientific artefacts and images creates a common point of departure for the 22 young artists contributing to the exhibition. Together they have transformed the old library hall into a space of storytelling, exchanging ideas and contemplation. The exchange between art, science and history provide a frame for the works in the exhibition and is a result of artistic expression and its autonomy to interpret and continue history in the location it took place.

“Stories develop while traveling from human being to human being, they grow and are influenced by individual interpretation and the emotions of those they wander through.”
